Is a permit needed to build a fence in Lodi California?

I want to build a 6 foot tall fence around my backyard to keep my dogs in. Is a permit required for fencing and if so who do I contact to get it?

Yes, a permit is required for building a fence in Lodi California. There are limitations on height and may be other restrictions. Contact the City of Lodi https://www.lodi.gov/187/Planning-Division click on “Permits & Licensing”.
